Le numerose cavit\u00e0 sono state spesso scelte dall\u2019uomo in et\u00e0 preistorica come luoghi abitativi o di sepoltura, e, in epoche pi\u00f9 recenti, come ricovero per pastori e greggi, nonch\u00e9 come rifugi.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
La relazione millenaria dell\u2019uomo con la valle di Lanaitho ha una spettacolare manifestazione nella grotta Corbeddu, ma sono tanti i rinvenimenti sensazionali nei diversi siti sotterranei nascosti fra le pareti verticali dei Supramonte di Oliena e Dorgali. Altre importantissime testimonianze archeologiche sono state scoperte nella Grotta del Guano e in quella di Su Ventiheddu<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Ma i tesori archeologici di Lanaitho non si trovano solo nelle profondit\u00e0 sotterranee, fuori, in superficie, sono celebri per esempio i villaggi di Tiscali e Sa Sedda \u2019e sos Carros. Still, finds were scattered all over the vertical walls of Oliena\u2019s and Dorgali\u2019s Supramontes.<\/p>\n One of these is the skeleton of a woman of the Ancient Bronze Age (2000 \u2013 1800 BC) and named Sis\u00e0ia, just like the cave where she was found by sa aja \u2013<\/em> the ancestor. Her skull has signs of made-made surgical holes; the round part removed was successfully replaced and healed.<\/p>\n Some other essential artefacts were found in the Guano Cave and Su Ventiheddu.<\/em><\/p>\n The archeo-treasures of Lanaitho are not just in their depths; in fact, just outside of it are the villages of Tiscali<\/a> and Sa Sedda \u2019e Sos Carros<\/em><\/a>. The latter was abandoned around the VII century BC. It could be that the residents moved to the nearby town of Ruinas (which means ruins), just at the valley\u2019s entrance.<\/p>\n Su Gurruthone <\/em>village, too, holds traces of Nuragic civilisation. The ruins of nuraghe Duavidda are still visible today \u2013 a place probably used to control the cattle drive roads from and to the east coast of the island.<\/p>\n All of Lanaitho’s rich nature, history and archaeology cannot be summed up in a few lines here. Uno di questi \u00e8 senza dubbio lo scheletro di una donna vissuta durante il Bronzo Antico (2000 \u2013 1800 a.C.) ribattezzata Sis\u00e0ia cos\u00ec come la grotta in cui \u00e8 stata rinvenuta, probabilmente da sa aja<\/em>, ossia l\u2019antenata<\/em>. La donna riporta i segni di un intervento di trapanazione cranica effettuato con successo, infatti, la rondella ossea rimossa e riposizionata risulta completamente cicatrizzata.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
