Anche in passato, durante le feste pi\u00f9 importanti, i partecipanti erano talmente tanti da arrivare a formare fino a tre grandi cerchi di danzatori (ballos a tres pigias<\/em>).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

La danza, dunque, \u00e8 un lungo filo che unisce gli olianesi attraverso i secoli ma che, a dimostrazione della sua vitalit\u00e0 e ottima salute, si \u00e8 rinnovata nella fisionomia e nelle interpretazioni anche in anni recenti.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Il ballo olianese pu\u00f2 essere accompagnato secondo tre modalit\u00e0: la prima \u00e8 silenziosa, ossia senza canti o strumenti; la seconda prevede la voce di un solo cantore per volta; la terza segue la musica del coro a tenore<\/u><\/em> (una tipica espressione musicale sarda) o dell\u2019organetto diatonico.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I luoghi privilegiati per le danze erano i dintorni delle chiese di San Lussorio e Santa Maria, e la piazza del Collegio.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

I balli sono numerosi e anche molto diversi fra loro, si va da quelli caratterizzati da movimenti lenti e ondeggianti a quelli pi\u00f9 ritmati e addirittura frenetici. I pi\u00f9 abili danzatori hanno sempre avuto un posto di rilievo nella considerazione popolare.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

During festivals, people dancing were so many that they could form up to three circles (ballos a tres pigias<\/em>).<\/p>\n

This dance is like a long thread linking the people of Oliena along the centuries, but it never gets old. On the contrary, it is a healthy and robust tradition renovated by the many interpretations of these recent years.<\/p>\n

There are three ways to dance in Oliena: silently, without any music playing, with the help of a single voice, or with the theme of a tenore<\/u><\/em> choir (a typical Sardinian singing form) or a diatonic accordion.<\/p>\n

This dance was mainly performed around the churches of San Lussorio<\/em> and Santa Maria<\/em>, or in the College Square.<\/p>\n

There are many dances, all very different, some with slow and swaying movements, some others more rhythmically frantic. The people of the town always looked upon the most skilful dancers.<\/p>\n

One of the round dance\u2019s main variants is su passu torrau<\/em>, but su denn\u00e0ru<\/em>, su passu torrau puntau<\/em>, su nugoresu<\/em>, s\u2019\u00e0rciu<\/em>, s\u2019\u00e0rciu antihu<\/em>, su durdurinu <\/em>are equally important.<\/p>\n","poi_link":false,"sottotitolo":"A timeless dance","introduzione":"
