{"id":1683,"date":"2021-05-26T17:33:34","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T15:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oliena.it\/new\/outdoor\/grotta-corbeddu\/"},"modified":"2024-01-26T12:53:36","modified_gmt":"2024-01-26T11:53:36","slug":"corbeddu-cave","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/oliena.it\/en\/outdoor\/corbeddu-cave\/","title":{"rendered":"Corbeddu Cave"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particolare la falange di una mano datata a 22 mila anni fa \u2013 siamo nel Paleolitico Superiore \u2013 rappresenta il pi\u00f9 antico resto umano scoperto nelle isole mediterranee.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Questi reperti erano associati a quelli di un piccolo mammifero roditore, il <em>Prolagus S\u00e0rdous Wagner<\/em> (simile a un coniglio selvatico), sopravvissuto a lungo in Sardegna e Corsica quando in Europa era in via d\u2019estinzione, e fondamentale nell\u2019alimentazione dell\u2019uomo di Grotta Corbeddu.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In questo incredibile scrigno di scoperte archeozoologiche non possiamo non citare i resti di un cervo preistorico dalle corna possenti, il <em>Megaceros cazioti<\/em>, e quelli di un antico canide, il <em>Cynoterius sardus<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ma nella grotta sono stati rinvenuti altri straordinari reperti ossei pi\u00f9 recenti appartenenti a un individuo vissuto 14.000 anni fa.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L\u2019uomo ha continuato a frequentare questo luogo anche successivamente, in diverse fasi non consecutive, fino al Bronzo Antico (1800-1600 a.C.).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Quanti altri luoghi possono dire di aver ospitato l\u2019uomo per un arco di tempo di circa 20 mila anni?<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In particolare la falange di una mano datata a 22 mila anni fa \u2013 siamo nel Paleolitico Superiore \u2013 rappresenta il pi\u00f9 antico resto umano scoperto nelle isole mediterranee. This animal was vital from the nourishment of the Corbeddu cave\u2019s man.<\/p>\n<p>This fantastic archaeological and natural treasure served us the remains of a prehistoric deer with massive horns \u2013 <em>Megaceros cazioti <\/em>\u2013 and an ancient canine, the <em>Cynoterius sardus<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Incredibly, some other bone remains belonging to an individual of 14,000 years ago were found in the cave.<\/p>\n<p>Humans kept coming to this place even in successive, non-consecutive ages until the Ancient Bronze Age (1800-1600 BC).<\/p>\n<p>How many other places have the honour of having sheltered humans for as long as 20,000 years?<\/p>\n","poi_link":1501,"introduzione":"<p>The Corbeddu Cave in the <a href=\"https:\/\/oliena.it\/en\/outdoor\/the-lanaitho-valley\/\">Lanaitho valley<\/a> is one of the most important sites of the island because it speaks about paramount moments in the history of man, culture, and nature.<\/p>\n<p>The site is named after the famous bandit Giovanni Corbeddu, who made this place his home while hiding in the \u2019800s.
